Going Home
As Roxane waits patiently on the platform, the heavenly train quietly appears,
without notice. It is engulfed in the praise and thanksgiving song of choirs singing
“Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty…” A Hand takes hers and she is quickly aboard.
The choir grew quiet as she begins to sing in her beautiful alto voice “ I am here Lord,
can You hear me…”. In an instant she is in complete joy as she sees the Glorious Face
of Jesus and hears “I Hear You Roxane, My Daughter, Welcome Home”.
And so, her life in Jesus, which began in Baptism, ends its earthly presence with the
fulfilment of the Promise of her heavenly life with her Lord and Savior.
Roxane died this mortal life on October 4th, 2024, following a fall resulting in a traumatic
brain injury. She leaves her husband Garry and their two sons, Paul, his wife Maxine
and granddaughter Aliyah; Cameron, his wife Dee and step granddaughter Nikki;
and her brother Mac, his wife Linda and nephews Ricky and Colby.
Garry’s prayer going forward…“Come Holy Spirit”
