Sheryl D. Brownlow, 76, of Vero Beach, Florida passed away at home on December 3, 2024, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
She was born in Newport, Kentucky on December 12, 1947, to the late Norman Harden and Ruth (Hunter) Harden. She had been a resident of Vero Beach for 2 1/2 years, coming from Thompson, PA, where she resided for 13 years.
Sheryl graduated in 1966 from Knob Noster High School, Knob Noster, Missouri. She earned her undergraduate degree from Gwynedd Mercy University (cum laude). She was married to James Brownlow on July 4, 1992.
Sheryl was employed by Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown, Pennsylvania for 35 years, serving in several different departments, most recently as patient accounting manager. She was particularly proud to have never missed a day of work due to sickness. She also volunteered many years for the Rail Trail Council of NEPA helping to expand the trail. She enjoyed playing the piano, playing bridge and the world of nature every chance she was given.
She is survived by her spouse; her son, Lawrence Kent and his son and daughter; her daughter, Michelle Rathe and her three sons and daughter and her four grandchildren, and her brother, Leslie Harden.
She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Gene Harden.

I send my condolences to her surviving family. We were high school classmates but had not communicated since. She was always a polite and brilliant student. Again, my condolences!
