Stephanie Renee Horn

April 11, 1973 ~ November 25, 2023

Stephanie Renee Horn went to her eternal heavenly home on November 25, 2023, due to cancer, which her poor body had fought for two and a half long years from a hospital bed. She was surrounded by her family and friends, as she left this world to be with Jesus. She is survived by her father, Steve Horn and his wife, Sheryl and a beloved and devoted son Brent Horn Murray of the home, in Vero Beach. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sandy Baker Smith of Raleigh NC. Stephanie was born on April 11 1973, in Elizabeth City, NC and graduated from Enloe High School in 1992. She was a licensed Insurance Agent in the state of North Carolina. She was passionate about the wildlife, animals and especially personal pets. She recently lost her loving ‘Glory’ who she adored. When things got tough and her mind needed settling, she would go to her ‘Happy Place’ at Carolina Beach and sit on her ‘Rock’ to connect with nature, spirits and God. This helped keep her grounded and humbled. She was a faithful, dedicated savior and true believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. A celebration of life will be held at Carolina Beach at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Florida to Humane Society of Vero Beach & Indian River County, and in North Carolina to New Hanover County Humane Society.

Stephanie I never had the opportunity to meet you but let me tell you, your family loves you. Your dad and step mother talked about you all the time. You are truly the apple of your dad’s eye. Sorry about your passing at such a young age.

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
