Terry Lee Weber Wessell

December 23, 1957 ~ May 30, 2022

After a brief but courageous battle with cancer, Terry Lee Weber Wessell transitioned peacefully in her sleep on May 30th, 2022. She leaves behind four daughters, ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild, one sister, and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her parents, three sisters, one brother, and a beloved dog.

Quite recently and unexpectedly, Terry discovered, through Ancestry, that she had three more sisters and two brothers through her biological father. She made an instant and loving connection with her newfound family. She excitedly made plans to visit with them in person this summer until her diagnosis changed her course. She and her newly discovered siblings were most grateful to have made this meaningful connection. She will be dearly missed by them and all who had the honor of knowing her in this life.

Terry never met a stranger. She loved meeting people, hearing their stories, and learning from their experiences. She lived a diverse life with many experiences of her own to share. Terry had endless insight and perspective that drew people to her. In addition, she was fun for her entire life & had a zest that led to the creation of many great stories.

Terry was not without faults; she acknowledged her own & always sought to do better. In doing this, she encouraged others to be a better and more honest version of themselves. Terry was fierce. It was how she was raised. Whether installing fence posts, swing sets, or trampolines, there wasn’t a physical or mental task that she didn’t bravely approach with confidence and a “get it done” attitude. She was steadfast in her views but never made anyone feel less for theirs. She had unwavering faith and wasn’t afraid to declare it. She missed the bygones of yesteryear and often reminisced of better traditions and simpler times.

Terry loved her family. With so many family members gone before her, Terry became the glue that held the family together. She embraced the role well by being a constant and steady presence that her family relied upon. Unfortunately, her death leaves a massive hole in her family’s hearts and in a world that needs more Terrys. Forever Loved, Never Forgotten.

Mom, you mean the world to me. This is not getting any easier. I hate that you aren’t here anymore. I wish that it was a bad dream that I can’t wake up from. I thought you were going to make it. I never even entertained the idea that you wouldn’t. Being without you sucks. I know you are at peace with your loved ones. I know you are happy. I will be happy One day too, I promise. I look for your signs all over. Please be with me, watch over the ones you left behind. Until we meet again. I love you way more than I ever shown you. I hope you know how much I appreciated you. Be well. I love you to infinity and beyond.

Although I didn’t have long with Terry she certainly made an impression on my life. I was “new” to the family and she welcomed me with open arms. I believe Terry was everything said above and so much more. She was an amazing lady and is missed already! You know the value of one’s life by whom and what they leave behind. Terry left behind an awesome family that will miss her forever. RIP Terry. We’ll have a fireball in your name. Until we meet again. Love Cori Scott.

You are a person that people would love to have as a friend. You were such a kind and and wonderful person. You will always be in my heart. Will always remember the time you were at my dad’s house having fun in the sun and the pool. You are now an angel watching over your loved ones. May you R.I.P.

Cynthia and family, your Mom was certainly one of my favorites. We always joked and smiled when we were together. Hold the great and special memories close to your heart. May her memory be a blessing.

Terry was a kind, thoughtful, wonderful person, and a very dear friend. She was always genuinely interested in everyone. She was a generous, loving, soul and friend. I am so sorry that she is not in this physical world anymore, but she is with her precious family forever with God. We are all better people who knew her, and had the blessing to call her family and friend. Rest easy my friend. We will always remember you. ❤️❤️

Terry quickly became my friend during a summer job I had in 2004. Even though she was the same age as my Mom, she and I were destined to be great friends. I loved the obituary and especially when it says she had fun her entire life. Isn’t that the truth. I still remember most of her stories about her girls, nieces, and sisters. She loved her family so much. Terry was one of those people, if you met her you wouldn’t forget her. And if you knew her you loved her. It is sad to think that I won’t get to see her again in this life. My thoughts, love, and prayers for her girls and entire family

Terry was a beautiful lady. I think these words are perfect in their description of who she was. It has been years since I saw Terry but you never forget a person like her. She was real and spoke the truth, not what you wanted to hear, but what you needed to hear. I can still see her, and hear her sharing her raw wisdom with us young kids. I will never forget the Moms and Grandmas and older sisters in my childhood. I hope they know they were the village that raised us all, and I was so blessed to have them all. Rest easy Terry, I know you are in the best place now, thank you for your wisdom and love. You will be so missed love and hugs.

To my newly found sister, Terry and her beloved family members and friends…words are weak when trying to convey the whirlwind of powerful emotions in my heart. From that first moment of realization that your timeline into this world was undeniable and that DNA doesn’t lie…to meeting you for the first time on a Zoom call on my birthday this past January…my love for you grew exponentially with each text message, care package and video call. Exchanging childhood photos through messenger and learning more about your upbringing was so surreal to me. I was so looking forward to meeting you in person this summer and giving you a huge hug as we planned for a potential “big reveal” to our Dad. (Even if we just left your identity as “a close family member” so as to not confuse him or create any heartbreak for not ever being a part of your life) I am a bit heartbroken myself for being unable to meet you and hug you in person. Yet my heart is also full of gratitude as I know with complete conviction we were meant to know each other in this lifetime even if it was only for a brief 5 months. Your positive influence in my life is immeasurable and will be carried forward for the rest of my days! We will do our very best to keep connected with your beautiful daughters (our nieces) and their families as we continue to share more stories of their grandfather’s side of the tree! Your light still shines in this world through the lives of your children, grand children and great grandchildren! We will surely miss your physical presence here in this world yet we will take comfort in the unmistakable signs and wonders you reveal to us, affirming you are still very much alive & well and delighting in our daily lives from your new and vibrant vantage point from above. I love you, my dear sister. Until we meet again!

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
