Troy Dale Freeman

November 18, 1966 ~ June 24, 2022

Troy Dale Freeman was born November 18th, 1966 in Louisville Kentucky. He was called home to the Lord on June 24, 2022, at age 55.
Throughout the years, Dale was an avid collector. He enjoyed creating sets of various items, everything from baseball cards to Beanie babies. He loved spending time fishing, playing games, model building, and caring for his dog, Bear.
Dale was a beautiful, kind and giving soul who would do anything for anyone. Everyone who understood Dale knew that he was an extremely kind, loving, gentle and peaceful person and he loved his family very much. He is survived by his mother Helen Montgomery, father Troy Freeman Sr., and his loving siblings Mark Freeman, Glenn Freeman, Victoria McKenzie, David Epperson, Jason Kerns, and Michael Brown. He was adored by stepfather John Montgomery, two nieces, three nephews, and one grandniece. He will forever be in their hearts and missed every day.
A Memorial will be a small private gathering of family only. His final resting place will be in his home state of Kentucky, per his wishes.
To Dale:
We love you more than words could ever tell. A piece of our heart will forever be missing. Your love was unconditional, and your laugh could cure all. There will not be a day that goes by that we will not miss you. Adjusting to this life without you will be arduous, but you taught us to never give up and to keep fighting and that is exactly what we will do. Your heart was bigger than life itself and reminded people daily how to love. We love you with all our hearts always and forever.

I am so shocked of the passing of Dale. He was such a great guy. My fondest memory I have of Dale, and the first time I ever meet him. It was at a family reunion we had here in Pineville KY. He was such a nut. Running after me spraying me with a squirt gun. I didn’t see him a lot but when I did. He was always joking and laughing. RIP Dale. to all the family

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
