Una Regina Wilson, 96, of Vero Beach, FL went to heaven March 17, 2024.

 

She was born in Miami, FL on August 10, 1927 to Yelverton and Jane Higgs.  She has been a resident of Vero Beach for 15 years, coming from Lake City, FL where she had moved from Miami when she retired. She married her life partner, Hugh R Wilson, on Sept. 4, 1948.

 

Una worked in the Insurance industry from her first job when she was 16 until retirement in 1992.  She was a world traveler and visited countries throughout Europe, the Americas, Africa and lived in South Africa for several years.  She was an avid crafter and a member of several charitable organizations.

 

She is survived by her son, Jeffery Wilson, daughter in law, Li Wilson, five grandchildren, two by blood, Diana and Jessica, and three of the heart, Christopher, Timothy and Melody.  She had eleven great-grandchildren. Those by blood, Layla, Rossi, Abigayle, Jocelynn, Ethan, and Mason, and of the heart, Alec, Jayden, Lila, Keigan and Gianna.

 

She is predeceased by her husband, Hugh R Wilson, her parents and siblings.
