Veneetia Parker

May 30, 1969 ~ January 11, 2022

A journey in life for Veneetia Parker began on May 30, 1969 at 10:50 PM in South Boston, VA, weighing in at 7 lb. 8 oz. and 21 inches long to the proud parents , Ruth Outlaw and Louis Chandler Sr. (deceased).
She was walking at 11 and a half months old and talking to anyone who would listen at the age of one, weighing 35 lbs. At 22 months old she wel-comed her sister Sherita Douglas, then her brothers Louis Chandler Jr. at the age of 3 and baby brother Romoan Mitchell (deceased) when she was 7 years old. She was later introduced to parental siblings Darrell Charity, Nicole Jones and Marlene Logan. Veneetia started her education in New-port News, VA, transitioning to Alexandria, VA where she discovered her love for reading and finished in Halifax Co. She was gifted with one daughter, Sabrina Fernandez and two devoted sons, Devon and Kavon Chandler, three grandchildren, Arianna and Romeo Watson and Kareem Chandler. In addition to cherish her memory are her aunts and uncles, Aunt Mattie, Uncle David, Aunt Renee, Uncle Robert, Aunt Frances and Uncle Sammy. Along with a host of cousins and friends.
Veneetia was known to many as Peaches. She was a daddy’s girl. Where he went she would follow. She was known for her curly black hair and beautiful round face. It was rare to be in her space and she wasn’t laughing and smiling. Peaches was an individual who would do anything she could to help someone. She loved listening to her soulful music and cooking in her kitchen. And we can testify, the girl could cook! Nor have we ever met someone who could keep a house so clean!
In life we meet many people but there are some who simply are so special in one greeting Their imprint will last a lifetime.

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
