Vincent Jerome “Jerry” Morabito

October 24, 1944 ~ February 23, 2024

It is with broken hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Vincent Jerome (Jerry) Morabito at age 79. Jerry was the cherished and loving husband of Stacey, loving father to Michael and wife Jennifer, and was predeceased by loving son Jason (2023) The passing of Jason in 2023 was the one dark moment and heartbreak of his life and our lives. Loving brother of Joseph and wife Eileen, sister Paula (2016) and brother in law Warren (2024). His former wife Penny is saddened by his passing. He was the loving brother in law to Renee Farwell and Mark Farwell and wife Laura. Jerry loved and adored his grandchildren Evan and Maya and was their “Papa South “ He loved and was adored by his niece, nephews and cousins. Jerry was the most beloved son in law to Marilyn and Burt Farwell whom he cared for in every way until each of their passings.

Jerry grew up in Hamilton Ontario Canada in a close knit Italian family. His parents Anne and Michael were loving and instilled the importance of tradition and love of family. In his youth, Jerry loved sports and was an outstanding athlete, football, track and field, an excellent boxer and was part of the Delta High School’s 4 x100 record setting team.

Very early in life Jerry had the entrepreneurial drive and his business accomplishments were many and diverse. He also had a great love of sunshine and warm weather and knew he wanted to be in Florida and he made that happen. It was the late 70’s when he took that step and bought apartment buildings from Miami to Ft Lauderdale and did condominium conversions, the rage of that time period. It was the early 80’s and the best of times in South Florida .

It was then that he found his soulmate and the love of his life in Stacey. Their love for each was eternal and knew no bounds. It was truly the greatest love story. All of our lives were enriched by just witnessing the two of them, their love and devotion to each other and to our family.

Jerry was larger than life with a beautiful voice and laughter. When he entered a room people noticed. His movie star good looks, his engaging personality, his ability to make people laugh and feel good. He was the whole package, one of a kind, beat to a different drummer kind of guy. This great man has forever enriched our lives .

Arrangements are under the direction of Millennium Cremation Service. Condolences may be shared online at www.millenniumcremationservice.com.

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
