Virginia Anne Folsom

Virginia Anne Folsom, 72, a lifelong resident of Ft. Pierce & Vero Beach, Florida, passed away December 10, 2019 at VNA Hospice House.

 

Ms. Folsom had a passion for horticulture and shared this knowledge while being employed at Indian River Correctional Institution and I.R. Community College in the education department where she taught Ornamental Horticulture and Nursery Operations for 10 years. With her love for Antiques in 1999 she opened Olde Towne Antiques until 2004. In 2005, Ms. Folsom began working as a teacher’s assistant for the Indian River County School District until her retirement in 2014.

 

She leaves her memories to be cherished by her daughter and son-in-law, Cassie and Tim Hobbs and grandson, Andrew Hobbs all of Vero Beach.

 

At the request of the family, there will be no services.

Cassie,

I am so sorry to read of your dear mother’s passing. She was such a nice person and I thought of her often over the years even though I didn’t see her much. She and your Dad came to our wedding in l973.

Bless you to remember all the sweetness of her.
