Zondra Mae Rush

Zondra Mae Rush, Age 88, passed away at Spring Hills Assisted Living Center, Vero Beach, Florida on January 24th 2024. Zonnie was born in Columbus, Ohio to Evelyn Milligan and Stanley Jenkins.
Zonnie relocated to Florida in 1963. She was an employee of the state of Florida working as a supervisor and clerk of court in Dade County, Florida. In 1996, she retired to Vero Beach with her life partner Ken Brandenburg. As the matriarch of the family, Zonnie was a determined, caring and loving mother who will be terribly missed, passionately loved, and forever adored.
Survivors include sister Judy Dyal, brother George Richard Jenkins; sons Scott Rush (Ann), Bradley Rush; grandsons Eric, Dakota, and Austin; granddaughter Kristen; and great grandson Silas.
Zonnie was predeceased by two sons Jeff and Mark Rush; nephew Jason and life partner Ken Brandenburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Vero Beach Veterans Inc., 2500 15th Avenue, Vero Beach, Florida 32960.
